1. Application and Resume Screening
Application Submission: You submit your application through Teradata's career portal or a job board.
Resume Screening: The hiring team reviews your resume to check if your qualifications match the job requirements.
2. Initial HR Interview
Phone Screen: An initial phone interview with an HR representative. This conversation usually focuses on your background, work experience, and motivation for applying. The HR representative might also provide an overview of the company and the role.
3. Technical Interview(s)
Phone/Video Interview: A technical interview conducted over the phone or via video call. This interview typically involves coding challenges, problem-solving questions, and discussions about your technical experience and projects.
Online Assessment: Some candidates may be required to complete an online coding assessment or technical test. This could include algorithms, data structures, and domain-specific knowledge relevant to the role.
4. On-site Interviews (or Virtual On-site)
Multiple Rounds: If you pass the initial technical interview, you'll be invited for on-site interviews, which may be conducted virtually. These usually consist of several rounds of interviews with different team members.
Technical Deep Dive: In-depth technical interviews focusing on coding, system design, architecture, and other technical skills pertinent to the role.
Behavioral Interview: Questions aimed at understanding your work style, teamwork, problem-solving approach, and how you handle various work situations.
Team Fit and Culture Interview: Interviews with potential team members and managers to assess cultural fit and alignment with Teradata's values and work environment.
5. Final Interview
Leadership/Executive Interview: For some roles, there may be a final interview with senior leadership or executives. This interview might focus on strategic thinking, leadership qualities, and long-term career goals.
