      Product Manager Interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Telecare

      Interview

I applied for a role and was asked to complete an in-depth take-home case study: identify three problems their target audience faces and propose three data-driven solutions for each. I invested significant time and effort, submitted my work, and followed up three times — but I never heard back from the recruitment team. While I can’t say for certain, the exercise felt like it may have been a way to collect free product ideas rather than a genuine step in a hiring process. Regardless of intent, leaving candidates without any feedback after requesting such detailed work is very unprofessional and disrespectful of people’s time.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Identify the top 3 problems faced by clinicians and administrators in hospital back-office operations. State your assumptions and briefly explain why these problems matter to the hospital and its stakeholders. Use relevant data, research, or logical assumptions to support your problem definition. Propose 2–3 possible product concepts to address the identified problems. For each, describe the main benefits, possible drawbacks, and high-level feasibility. Select one solution to focus on first. Explain why you prioritised it over others, including any trade-offs or items you would delay or drop. Define 3–5 clear, relevant KPIs or success metrics that would indicate the solution is delivering value.
