The interview process at this company was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
I went through a total of 6+ rounds: an initial HR round, a virtual discussion with the Head of Department, an in-person meeting with the same person, another recruiter round, and then a final discussion with the COO was scheduled. Suddenly, the hiring process was frozen and I was asked to wait.
After waiting for nearly a month, I reached out again. The process restarted with another round involving a media professional, followed by the final round with the COO, who came across as rude and completely disinterested for no clear reason.
What frustrated me the most was the lack of consistency and transparency regarding compensation. In the very first HR conversation, a certain package was discussed, but by the final stage, the offered salary was reduced to less than 70% of what had originally been promised.
The company kept adding rounds, created unnecessary confusion, and ultimately wasted a significant amount of my time. I continued the process and even agreed to wait because I genuinely believed in the opportunity and had always heard great things about the company. It was actually a dream company for me at one point.
Unfortunately, the overall experience turned out to be extremely disappointing. Candidates deserve clarity, respect, and professionalism throughout the hiring process.
