Without a phone screen, I was called for a F2F. The person that met with me said he got my resume only the day before. Either he was lying to pretend he was too important to be looking through resumes, or the hiring manager was sloppy. Also this guy (not sure how he is some kind of lead there) wanted someone with experience in middleware like Apache Kafka, but there was no mention of that either in the JD that was shared with me by the recruiter, or in my resume. So this "lead" also didn't do his homework right.
And he spent a lot of time during the interview trying to verify that I indeed have fifteen years of experience. This was very unbecoming of him, but he likely fakes his resume while applying for jobs, and expects the same from others.
All in all, it was a waste of my time.
