The interview was fairly easy. They are mainly looking for people with the right personality and mindset. Proofing is a unique position, so most people are hired without similar experience. Biggest pros are if you seem trainable, interested in reading/audiobooks, and tech literate.

Interview
After a very extensive first interview, I did not hear back from Tantor Media for a long time. When I finally did, I was surprised to learn that I had gotten a second interview. However, weeks after the second interview they left a very brief message saying I had not been selected for the position. In a very polite email, I inquired why I was not offered the position, and received no response at all.
