I was asked to interview for the position two days after my application on the following week. Interview was 45 min, with the CEO (Takara Bio Europe), outgoing tech sales specialist, and production manager present. I was asked to describe myself, why I wanted to transition from research to industry, and a few questions about my technical qualifications and extracurricular work relevant to the position. They finished by letting me know they would contact me in the next few weeks with an answer.
