Over the last two months I had two calls coming from TP Portugal, most likely following an internal referral.
The first call, the "recruiter" probably did not have a look at the CV before calling me, since the role in question was totally misaligned with my seniority and experience. I mentioned I had applied for other roles, she said she would get back to me, but never did.
The second call (maybe the same "recruiter"), she mentioned she got my application, she did not say what role, even though I directly asked her, since I and applied for two roles, and she mentioned I was signaled for my language skills (red flag, the same was about to happen). She asked for my professional experience, and mid way through my answer, she hanged up and never called again and did not pick up the phone - probably she noticed she did the same mistake twice. She should have owned it and explain the situation.
I feel like they hire inexperienced people to do screening calls, not previous consideration for the candidates' background and just make the calls to make sure the KPIs are met.
Not a great experience, pretty rookie for such a large company.
