Interview
The recruiter reached out to me via email within 24 hours of my application, which was incredibly prompt. However, the phone conversation was brief, lasting only 10 minutes. The recruiter mentioned that the company is looking for a candidate who is open to relocation within 6-12 months and there was no clarity on the potential market. I believe the company should clarify this requirement in the job post to save applicants time and effort. Despite my excitement about the brand, the initial conversation was disappointing as the recruiter did not allow for any personal connection or getting to know me.

Only asked about work experience and sales volume. No further discussion took place and as the recruiter was quick to get off the phone.

Interview
The position that is posted as a DM is actually a District Supervisor (less pay than a DM), for training purposes and to build their bench of talent. After agreeing to be relocatable, acknowledging that the position I applied for and would be interviewing for are different, and that the territory is not actually in the location listed, I agreed to move forward with the process.
The morning of my interview I received an email that it was cancelled. It was cancelled because, without meeting me, the interviewer did not want to meet with anyone that wouldn't consider being a Store Manager.
Post a SM position if that's what you want to hire! Total waste of time.
