you need a 3 year valid word permit off the bat if not don't waste your time. the interviewer did not not care that it can still be renewed. even if this is your first work permit and they gave you till your passport expires. i tried to explain that it can be renewed but they dismissed the interview saying its policy. it has to be valid for at least 3 years from the start
