I applied for the Technical Support Manager position in Lindon, early in December 2019. I had a phone interview and then came into the office for an in person interview the 2nd week of Dec.
The interview was a good dialog back and forth, which I thought it went well. I sent a thank you letter email to the recruiter (for the other interviewers, since I didn't have their emails) the next day thanking them for the opportunity and looked forward to hearing from them. I didn't get a response but didn't think of anything at the time because the holidays were coming up and the same held true the rest of the month of December, no communication but again with the holidays I thought that was to blame.
During the month of January I left a total of 5 different communications. 3 separate emails and 2 phone calls (went to vm) over the month. I also asked in my communications that they give me a call, but that was completely ignored as well. It wasn't until Feb when I emailed a VP that I got a response.
It's incredibly disheartening to be treated like this after putting in so much work and time into the interview process. In general this was such a poor experience. Nothing makes you feel more small and insignificant than being ignored.
