I was interviewed in July 2017 by the 70+ year old president and a younger scientist, both Asian. I only say that because the president especially had such a thick accent that he was almost incomprehensible. The entire interview lasted 1 hour, with the president joining after 15 minutes and leaving after 30 minutes. He repeatedly asked me questions and rudely cut me off in mid-sentence with the next question. It seemed he had already decided not to hire me and wanted to get it over with quickly. He and the scientist kept commenting on me in Chinese right in front of me. When he left the room, the scientist told me (apologetically) that Syntron was a family owned business. I gathered by his tone that, not being Asian, I had no chance.
