Synergy Enterprises, Inc. interview questions

Took about one month to be contacted. Recruiter was friendly and scheduled a 15 minute phone screening. Asked me my salary expectations and how soon I could start. I was the invited to interview with the hiring manager. 30 minute interview but spent some time explaining why I did not include non-related jobs from 20 years ago on my CV and felt pressured to disclose my past health status due to the line of questioning. This was on a Wednesday. I was then asked to submit writing samples and complete a series of written technical exercises. Submitted them on Saturday and they were received at 8am in Monday. 3 hours later and rather abruptly, I was informed in a rather cold tone that they were not moving forward. At least I was not made to wait. However, the rapidity of the decision does give me pause and this is based on years of my own hiring experience. Overall, everyone was nice but there were a lot of mixed signals.
