I was scheduled for an interview with HR, but within just 1 hour before my interview, I received an email that the role has changed and they had to cancel. There was no clarification on what happened to the role, if it's still available and what happened to my application, even with a follow up. It's rude and shocking that at the last minute, instead of calling the candidate about the cancellation, they emailed and hoped the candidate would see it in time. Appalling behaviour, unprofessional and poor etiquette. If they do not value candidates' time and effort before they're even hired, then it makes me question how they treat their employees.
