The interview process is short and concise. Be ready to have some preliminary knowledge of swimming and how to talk to parents and kids. Also having an expressive personality is a plus.

Interview
First, you have to leave a voicemail, then if they like your voicemail they invite you to a group interview, where they get to know you, you sing songs, & practice tying a shoe like you’re talking to a kid. After the group interview, if they like you they offer you the job.

I applied online. I interviewed at SwimKids Swim School in May 2015
Interview
I called to schedule an interview and they were very flexible with my schedule. The interview was mostly just talking about my past experience. It also had a lot to do with personality. They wanted to make sure that my personality would fit in with the other instructors and students. It involved some 'what if' questions and overall was a good experience. After the interview was over, before I left I was invited to the training class, which essentially means you are hired.
