Initially, I had a phone call with HR that described the internship program and my role. Following, I had another call with my manager who explained what the position would be like.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sutro Biopharma (South San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2023
Interview
Quick, around 2-3 weeks - It was not bad at all- the HR round was quick and one week later I had 2 technical interviews and they told me their decision a week after that.

Question 1
They asked me what kinds of projects I had been a part of and what types of cell lines I had worked with and how I would be able to apply that in the role.
I had a brief phone interview and then was extended the offer. Very casual process, their internship program is new. The phone interview was probably ~15 minutes, and just asked very basic questions.
Great people at this company! If you have the chance to work there, I highly recommend.
