I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Susquehanna International Group in Jul 2018
Interview
I applied online and received an email about a week and a half later requesting a phone interview. This was with HR and was a generic screen, asking to describe my research on a basic level. Then the standard "why here, who else are you applying with" etc questions.
Shortly after that the next interview was scheduled with supposedly a member of the quant team. I am not sure if the comments stating that the interviews are outsourced is accurate or not. I was told I was speaking to a member of the team, but I have reasons to suspect that maybe this was not the case. In any case, it's not particularly relevant.
This interview was an hour long and again began with a more detailed description of my research, followed by the quantitative questions. The person had a difficult to understand accent and the phone connection wasn't particularly stable so this was kind of a disaster. I strongly feel a better way to go about this is to submit the questions in writing immediately prior to the interview so one can at least know for sure they heard the question properly.
The next step would have been an interview on the coding side of things followed by an in person visit, but it did not progress this far for me.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
A game where two players each throw two dice each. If any one die matches the other, you win a dollar. If there is no match, you lose a dollar. Would you play this game or not and why?
You have a total of 4 investments to make of 100 dollars. You can either invest in a stock which if it goes up in value, you gain an additional 100 dollars, if it goes down, you lose 50 dollars. Or you can bet on whether the stock will go up or down at the casino, where you either win 100 if you're right or lose everything if not. Can you devise a strategy where you will always make a profit?

Interview
The first hurdle in SIG’s interview process is an online assessment administered through Mercer | Mettl. It tests knowledge in mathematics, probability, and statistics. The assessment combines puzzles and probability questions, along with topics like expected value, combinatorics, and logic. Overall, it follows the standard quant interview format — probability and statistics are the most critical areas to master before sitting the test.
An online math test testing topics such as probability theory, basic logics and word problems that you need to do in a relatively short time. I was not invited for further interviews
General question such as background and motivation then 2-3 math questions based on probability and expected value. Difficult than OA. But overall, it is managable if you have done a proper review.
