I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Support.com in Aug 2014
Interview
After applying, I received an email from the recruiter to schedule an interview within 2 days, had phone interview the following week with an experienced technician who had been pulled to do interviews. 7 days after the interview I received a phone call from the recruiter with the job offer and scheduling me for a training class.
The interview mostly consisted of role-playing scenarios related to connecting a cable customer's wireless modem to their computer. The interviewer was very tech savvy and funny, but his scenarios threw me through a loop sometimes and stumped me. I gave it my best effort and I think he saw enough tech knowledge in my answers to see that I could do the job with their training. When the interview was done, I certainly did not feel confident that they would hire me though, I worried that he had stumped me too many times.
