Interview
One-on-one interview with the store manager- he asked me questions about my resume, work style, and selling experience. We also had a mock selling portion of the interview where he asked me to pretend to sell a pair of glasses to him. He was aware that I had no product knowledge yet and allowed me to make up details about the item so it was very easy!

What qualities do you have that would make you a great sales person here?
Asked about experience, situational questions (was there ever a time where), if I'm interested in fashion, and register skills. Then the second in person part was role playing approaching a customer, giving advice, and testing a little knowledge about sunglasses like shapes and color theory.

Phone (asked about availability, location & if I wanted full time/part time) then in person. Asked simple scenario questions about how I handled conflict and describe how I would sell stuff.

Interview
It really depends on your manager as there’s no specific set guidelines. Generally easy questions and basic questions regarding sales. I’ve helped my manager come up with scenarios on top of some easy basic questions.
