I applied online. I interviewed at Sun Chlorella USA (Torrance, CA) in Sep 2018
Interview
I interviewed with a panel of 3 and they had very good questions that they asked. The 2nd interview was with the CEO/President from Japan and he asked good questions as well. I was then made an offer by email and a phone call.

Question 1
I cant' remember the interview questions because it was a couple of years ago but they were not pretty basic.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Sun Chlorella USA (Torrance, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
Initial phone screen by a recruiter, first interview with VP, second with President. Were easy interviews, and I was offered a position but compensation was too low. Was about 70K. Took other opportunity with 85.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sun Chlorella USA (Torrance, CA)
Interview
I was contacted by a third-party recruiter regarding the position. I was given several options as to when the interviewer was available to conduct the interview and selected a time. I was then contacted by the recruiter, saying that there had been some sort of miscommunication between the recruiter and the firm, the hiring manager was not in fact available at the time that they submitted and asked me to reschedule. I complied.
The actual interview was conducted at the company's headquarters. My impressions of the organization based on the office environment and employees that I interacted with are that it is very conservative and behind the times, which is odd considering that their product line. I met with the interviewer for less then ten minutes, where she asked me generic questions about my experience. It was obvious that she had not read my resume and was overall ill-prepared. She said that they would be holding second round interviews with senior management the following week for candidates that they were interested in and sent me on my way.
My general experience was average. If you're looking for a paycheck and benefits, this company is as good as any. If you're looking to work for an organization that is innovative, inspiring and dynamic, I would say look elsewhere.
