I applied online and quickly received an informational interview call. I then was invited to a virtual interview and loved the prep content. The school is social justice and restorative justice oriented so be prepared for that.

It was virtual, through Zoom/Google Meet. Fairly standard teaching practice questions, such as my teaching style, philosophy, how would my colleagues and students describe me, how do I bring joy into the classroom...Was not very long.

Interview
The "interview" here was virtually non-existent. I was contracted through SwingSubs to substitute a class. It was my first time teaching in a classroom. The head of the Expeditions program at the time came in and watched me sub for about 30 minutes throughout the day. After students were dismissed and I was cleaning up the classroom, he came in and offered me a full-time position.
