I applied through university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Subway (Eugene, OR) in Sep 2012
Interview
Casual, met with owner and discussed past job experience and availability. Manager appeared to be looking for someone who could work all shifts, morning, afternoon, and late night. Manager gave a walk through 'behind the scenes' of the restaurant and was up front about his staffing needs. Explained that most of his employees were students at the University and that homework was allowed as long as all work was done. Second interview was with the owner and the manager, also a student. More formal than first interview but offered job on the spot at the conclusion.

Question 1
How have you had to deal with a difficult customer in the past?
I am given a form and fill the form and wait for your turn and staffs are really friendly manager is friendly all in all I really like the interview process.
It was alright, a group interview. It wasn't too formal and it was an interesting selection of people in the group. There was one interviewer and four interviewees (including myself). I found it interesting that the interview was held in the middle of the store (which was pretty small) and so customers were able to watch what was going on.
