DEEPLY PARAPHRASING BECAUSE THIS WAS YEARS AGO:
After an entertaining discussion about the projects, the company, and where they would like to fit me in:
"So, what do you think it would take, aside from all of the stuff we've been talking about, to make this work for *you*?"
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sub Rosa (New York, NY) in Mar 2016
Interview
After a phone screening by HR, I met with my potential direct report, and later two internal partners.
Each were warm, pleasant, engaging, and very relaxed.
They offered me tea and water.
Throughout the process, they were very prompt and professional in their correspondence; and were polite and encouraging even in writing to say they went in a different direction for the hiring.
