      Sr. HR Generalist Interview

      Mar 26, 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Sacramento, CA
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Straine (Sacramento, CA) in Mar 2025

      Interview

      1) Phone screen - manager talked MOST of the time 2) Team meeting - team seem unprepared and was kicked off the call after 10 minutes, manager did MOST of the talking again, no real HR questions asked 3) In Person with CEO and manager - this was more like an odd therapy session with the CEO telling me all about myself based on an online assessment they make you take. I was asked what my favorite color was and what words describe that color, but no real questions that addressed my work history or experience. One of the oddest interview processes I've ever been through. I did not think there was any way they knew enough about me to hire me...but they did.

      Question 1

I was not asked a lot of questions. I was talked at most of the interview process.
