Interview
The hiring manager will call you after you submit an online application. Walk into the store and ask a bagger to point you to the manager offices at the back of the store. The manager will interview you, have you sign some information, give you your uniform, and ask you to come back for training.

Informal and basic with questions like, "Why do you want to work at Stop and Shop" and "What qualifications do you have that line up with our roles". Pretty standard questions for a first job.
It was very easy. I met with the supervisor one time to review my application and go over the ground rules. No complaints with the interview process. I applied in person.
