I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Stop & Shop in Jan 2020
Interview
Filled out the application online, took about a week for them to call me in for an interview. The hiring manager was very friendly, and made me feel very comfortable during the interview process. He also was very helpful in explaining the aspects of a Union, and the benefits of it.
They also have to do a background check before they could give me a job offer, which took about 4 days after the interview to get back to them and for them to look over it.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Stop & Shop (Newark, NJ) in Jan 2019
Interview
Sent my application, took 1.5 weeks. Got a call to come in and asked the customer service desk for them.
As it is my first job the manager didn't have anything to ask me really, just trying to get to know my personality. Since it was my first interview I didn't know what to expect so my answers were pretty dry.
The manager was nice however and asked to submit a background check and call back tomorrow and bring my ID/SS.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Stop & Shop (Hartford, CT) in Mar 2017
Interview
Very simple and to the point. One of the best I've had over the years. Not a lot of useless questions.I had to go through 3 different people, but all were very nice and not harsh or pushy.
