      CRO Interview

      Sep 26, 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at StoneAge

      Interview

There was honestly a part of me that thought I might be getting recorded for humorous purposes. Spoke to internal recruitment and then CEO. The latter was a bit unreal. A first-time CEO with a social media presence that literally dwarfed that of the company, who was literally running an interview with another C-level applicant by asking ONLY pre-written questions and refusing any conversation point that may veer off from the aforementioned pre-written questions. This was all so "first time" that simply couldn't believe it was sincere and/or actually happening. But it was. At one point, the CEO even gave that scolding-parental-look for me apparently not allowing her to talk enough when I was answering one of her pre-arranged questions. Yikes.

      Question 1

As I mentioned above, these were the types of questions that you'd cut and paste from an online "How to Interview Executives" article. Most had little or nothing to do with the actual position or what a company would need to know regarding proper fit.
