      Human Resources Interview

      I interviewed at StockX

      Interview

Unprofessional and dismissive. The recruiter made first contact via text message with no context and asked to confirm my identity. Subsequent phone call came in on Saturday early morning (again with no agreed time to connect), and the whole 15 minutes was him putting me on mute because he was driving and the background noise on his end was too loud. Hopefully the rest of the company is operating more successfully than the existing recruitment/HR team. Seems I dodged a huge bullet here.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

"What do you want to do?" - this was a particularly interesting question as it showed the recruiter didn't event taken a look through my resume or bother to check what specific job posting I applied to.
