      Marketing Interview

      Aug 16, 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Star Executives

      Interview

They invited me to come interview on a Saturday (which should have been the first red flag). When I got there to sign it they asked me which company I was interviewing for (all of them were pyramid schemes). I was under the impression that it was a traditional marketing internship, but it was basically door-to-door selling. Not something I was interested in. After doing more research after the interview (which I should have done before) I realized that this "company" changes their name every year or so to distract people from reviews like this one. Learn from my mistakes and do extensive research before wasting your time.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They basically asked me if I could talk to people. The interview lasted MAYBE 5 minutes and I was offered a second interview the next day (sunday...)
