I applied online and was contacted by email for a phone interview. I gave a list of dates/times and Stantec got back to me after the weekend and informed me I had an interview scheduled in just a few hours. I was very annoyed at being given such short notice because I had no time to prepare. All of the people I coordinated with through email seemed very rushed and annoyed as if I was inconveniencing them by applying and setting up an interview, and acted as if they hated their lives/jobs. The interviewers as well were very unfriendly and rushed and would not answer more than 2 of my questions. 24 hours later I received a default rejection email from the HR system. This whole process really soured me on ever wanting to work for Stantec.
