Interview
I submitted my resume for a new store that was opening. I received a phone call from the store manager stating that his store was already fully staffed, but in seeing my experience he could not ignore my application. After speaking on the phone, I was asked if I would be willing to come in for an interview, even though he did not have immediate openings for me. I agreed.
The store manager was very appreciative of the amount of experience I had, and treated me with respect. The store where I went for the interview was hopping with rooms full of new hires being trained. While he did not have any more openings, he asked if he could call me after store grand opening if a spot opened up. He also invited me to call back and check in with him for openings.
