I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Spotter (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2021
Interview
You meet with folks on various teams within the sales org including sales directors, account managers, ad operations, etc. You are then asked to pitch in person to a panel of judges (most of the time, people you have already met with.)

Interview
I was asked questions about my past experience and told about the role. Simple and straightforward. They are still kind of in startup phase so it seemed like they were unsure if they would even continue with the role they promoted or deem it not necessary.

Interview
1) HR screen - basic questions about your experience, interest in the company etc. 2) HM screen - experience deep dive, some technical questions about LLMs but nothing too technical because they don't really have experts in NLP/CV yet. In the HR Screen they asked ask about salary expectations. The job posting says $100k-$500k base, so I told them I'm looking for high 100s low 200s. They didn't get back to me after the initial HR screen, so I followed up via email. Recruiter tells me the salary I asked for is too high... After some discussion I say 180 is fine, and then he schedules the next round which is with the Hiring Manager. HM screen was not difficult, more of a get to know you + resume deep dive. HM enjoyed the convo and said they'll be in touch to schedule final rounds. They ghosted me and despite several follow ups I never heard anything.. Incredibly unprofessional organization. Could be a good fit for DS focused on analytics, but not on ML (CV, NLP) unless you want to start from scratch.
