I applied online. I interviewed at Sports Inc. 2000 (Ridgefield Park, NJ) in Aug 2017
Interview
Bunch of smooth talking men with their interview presentation memorized, trying to persuade you that they're legit & not a scam. First off, they change their name often as they are now called "Tri State Sports". Feel like They schedule everyone's interview at the same time being that the waiting area was full when I arrived and waited almost 2 hours for a 3 minute interview while they also ordered and ate lunch. You go for a 3-5 minute interview where one of the managers tells you he likes you, thinks you could be a perfect leader, and immediately invites you back for a second interview while barely going over your resume and only asking 2 or 3 questions. I know they do/say the same thing to everyone because I talked it over with 2 other interviewees in the parking lot as I left. The second "interview", You come back the following business day & follow (driving) one of their employees to the busiest spot in the city, hounding people to buy sports tickets. THAT'S IT. They say they somehow have a partnership to manage these teams but They're basically a company of scalpers looking for door to door salespeople to sell tickets for local sports games and will upload numerous job postings with the same description, just a different title in order to attract new people for this one role. Told me after a couple months in "training" (selling sports tickets on city streets) I'll be making 6figures while managing one of the many locations they plan to open across the country- yeah, ok! The whole process & company is fishy. They offered the job but I politely declined. I read negative reviews before going but decided to give them a try anyway when I should've just listened & not wasted my time AND gas.

Interview
I applied via LinkedIn and heard back a day later. 1st interview was really easy; they described it as a "meet and greet" to discuss details about the company, future expansion plans, etc.

Interview
I applied online through Linkedin about a Management Traniee program. The interview process was short and simple. They asked questions about myself and my experiences and talked about the company for a little bit. It took about 15 minutes. I was offered a second interview but declined after I began to make connections with what they were saying how they do business. The position sounded more like Sales job then actual management training, which isn't something I wanted to work for. I am very disappointed that they would direct me to a different position than the one I signed up for, but the company itself doesn't sound bad. Their business structure didn't seem like a scam, but sales was not the position I want to be.
Also, if you do not have a car, then I wouldn't recommend this job. The offices are located near route 95 with very limited access to getting there through public transportation, which may take a long time if you don't live near the area.
