      Creative Writer Interview

      Oct 21, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Toronto, ON
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Spin Master (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2012

      Interview

One on one informal chat with a senior manager. I was asked to describe my past experience as it related to the position. There was a lot of concentration on whether I would fit the culture. At the time, I incorrectly assessed this to be a good thing. In hindsight, it was a big red flag. Other questions related to my work experience and suitability to the industry (which is fair). Overall an inordinate amount of time was spent assessing whether I was capable of delivering a high volume of workload on a regular basis and how I might cope with unusual requests from partners and senior management.
