Applied online and recruiter reached out. Interview seemed to go very well, they said they would set up an interview with the hiring manager the following week. Then stone cold silence. Ghosted, despite a couple of very polite email follow-ups on my part. I can understand reasons why they may have decided I was not a good fit, and can understand they may not have been able to express those reasons to me. But to not send even a simple "we've decided to go in another direction" email is inexcusable, and reflects poorly on the company. I notice on Glassdoor another communications applicant had a similar experience. All I can say is, be warned.
