It was a competency interview with one of the questions being a situational one. The interviewers were fairly serious, there wasn't too much prompting and you had to rely on yourself for answers.

What would you do if your fellow student colleagues went on a night out but you stayed at home and in the WhatsApp chat you saw a video of one of them being abusive to their boyfriend. (cant remember exactly what it was but this is close)

Interviewed in Sheffield. Formal interview lasted an hour. Asked to give examples from life based on competencies and values that they provide prior. Structured interview, CARR method used. Chance to ask questions at the end.
