I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SoulCycle (New York, NY) in Jun 2015
Interview
Emailed resume, phone interview with recruiter, in-person interview with recruiter and corporate employee, second in-person interview with studio manager. None of the interviews were very difficult, but I think they weren't excited that this job was not going to be the number one priority for me. They promised to let me know either way about the job during a certain week, but there was no follow-up. I sent emails and called the recruiter looking for at least the courtesy for them to reject me, but I never heard back from them. It seemed like at least the polite thing to do after spending a month communicating with their recruiter and going through three interviews with three people.

Question 1
What is the hardest part of working in customer service?
Hello-
Thank you so much for your feedback on our interview process. We appreciate your opinion and apologize for the negative experience that you had.
We are truly sorry for our poor communication. As we expand and build our new studio teams, we do our best to keep candidate experience a top priority. We apologize that your experience was not representative of this and are so grateful that you've taken the time to share with us how we can improve.
We understand that the position is part time and that many of our candidates have other goals and priorities in their lives, which we love to support. However, we do look for a certain level of commitment to the role (minimum of 20 hours/week and flexible schedule) to ensure that our staff members are building relationships with our riders and building the community in our studio.
We truly did not mean to offend you or be impolite in this process. We sincerely appreciate your interest and effort in our interview process and are extremely sorry that your experience with us was substandard. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors and hope that we can make it up to you in some way soon!
Best,
