I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Solera (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2017
Interview
Several phone interviews, video interview, coding test, on-site interview, then strangely another interview after the on-site. HR person was horrible. She would text me at midnight details about my next step. How did she even get the job? The location and facility are truly amazing; dreamlike. Management seemed smart and nice. Phone interviews were tough with them because their phones keep cutting out. I think it was a problem with their network and I even experienced it on site, when they had me video chat with someone who was not on sight. After the onsite interview, I was expecting to here a yay or nay, but received an invite to another phone interview. This time it was everyone on the phone that I met on-site. It was really tough hearing them again as their phone kept cutting out and it provided a rather uncomfortable effect felt by both sides. After that I received a rather pleasant rejection notice. It was bitter sweet. It seemed like it could be amazing to work there, but at the same time it seemed like something was strangely off.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Pretty standard stuff. Coding test was a good one, made you think and formulate an algorithm to solve the problem.
