The Solaris interview process consists of three main stages to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of candidates.
Stage 1: Initial Connection
This starts with two rounds—a conversation with a Talent Acquisition representative and a technical screening with the Hiring Manager. The first round is usually a 20–30 minute phone or video call focused on understanding your background, career goals, and potential fit. The second round, about 30 minutes, digs into your technical skills and experience to see if you align with the role requirements.
Stage 2: Deeper Exploration
This stage includes a detailed discussion on hard skills with potential team members, typically lasting about an hour. You might discuss your technical expertise, tackle theoretical questions, and participate in a coding challenge or architectural case study while sharing your screen, depending on the role. Following this is a mindset or cultural fit interview, usually around 45 minutes, exploring how you collaborate, solve problems creatively, and align with Solaris values.
Stage 3: The Closing Chapter
Finally, you receive a feedback session by phone, video call, or email from Talent Acquisition. This session covers your interview performance, strengths, and areas for growth, and outlines the next steps. It's also a chance for you to clarify any questions and understand more about the company culture and the role before decision-making.
