Had a great first phone interview, done after hours for my convenience. I really appreciated that. I was told it was the best call of the day, we seemed to share work philosophy and had a good rapport. But then I had to have a 2nd phone interview, which could only be scheduled for mid afternoon, even though I made it clear I was not able to do that. I still found a way to take an extra break (aka, lost pay). My two interviewees were almost 15 minutes late for our 30 minute call, and then asked me pretty much all of the same questions from my first call. They responded to everything with disinterest and it didn’t even seem like they had seen my resume before that moment. I didn’t even get the courtesy of being rejected. I learned I didn’t get the job after the posting was relisted on Indeed. So much for professional courtesy. Not sure why they felt the need to waste my time.
