I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Snoqualmie Tribe in May 2025
Interview
1 hour long, on zoom, and the scheduling was smooth. I did ask who was on the interview beforehand and didn't get very helpful information. Excellent questions that required some thought. Not the generic YouTube questions others can ask, but questions very specific to the job ad. The interviewers were usually rather generous, but of course there's always the one person who's looking away from the screen, not reacting to answers, etc.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"What's your experience with ArcGIS Pro?" "How do you support creative engagement with GIS?" "What parts of a GIS project do you feel most passionate about, and which parts are more difficult for you?"

Interview
Applied online. Received a friendly message from HR to schedule a virtual interview. Showed up to panel interview with only one of three interviewers who had camera on and that person asked all of the interview questions. No introductions were made, just got asked a series of questions. Interviewer had no information on timeline for filling the position. Was really hoping it was going to be more warm and welcoming. HR sent another friendly follow up email saying they were going with another candidate.

Interview
I) Initial Zoom interview with HR staff member, & some hiring panel members.
II) Second (in person) interview with full hiring panel.
Both interviews were about 1 hour long.
The questions were typical interview questions.
