Interview
I applied for a Graphic Designer position and received an email asking me to complete a practical exercise before moving forward with an interview. The task was to create a website banner and a newsletter, which I delivered in less than a day. Unfortunately, I never received any response after submitting the work, no acknowledgment, no feedback, not even a simple thank you. I found it unprofessional and discourteous not to send at least a short message to close the process and appreciate the time I invested.

There hasn’t been an interview yet. The first step was a design task sent by email to assess design skills.

Interview
A lot of tasks were involved in the hiring process, and all of them were unpaid. For a trainee position, this seemed excessive. It included multiple assignments and assessments that felt like actual work rather than evaluation. It gave the impression of micromanagement and made me question the company’s expectations and culture. The process was lengthy and, in the end, I felt that the role wasn’t aligned with what I was looking for.
