I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Slalom (Denver, CO) in Feb 2020
Interview
Spanned 8 months due to COVID. Met initially with recruiter, then people manager in person, then other team members, practice lead, and GM in succession virtually. Presentation to team was done virtually.
Overall, while the mock proposal/presentation took a fair amount of time to prepare for, the entire process was one of the best I'd experienced.
In addition to person-specific questions, I asked nearly everyone the same couple of questions around teamwork/purpose and was encouraged by the similarity of answers (without being rote).
The recruiter was a particular standout, taking an unusual situation due to the virus and making sure I was kept well-informed, had answers to my questions, and helped arrange in-person chats with my would-be manager.
Overall a superlative process.

Question 1
What does outcome-based design mean to you? Strategically, how would you approach potential client engagements with this in mind?
Since this was 10 months ago, I don't remember too many other questions.
Thank you for providing your feedback from your interview process and pleased it was a positive experience with your recruiter staying in contact over the few months until you joined Slalom.

Pre-interview to only talk about initial level of interest, not a formal interview yet. There is a possibility of touch-base in the future for this opportunity when they expand in this specific area.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom (Boston, MA) in Mar 2022
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter. After the first round of technical interview I was told that my skill set does not align with the requirement. But still they would like to continue the interview process ( a big red flag). I went through 5 rounds of interview and only to be told later that they don't have a matching role at this time. That was really a big waste of time. They were aware that my profile did not match still they scheduled 6 rounds of interview. This was a very bad experience.
