The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SkyWest Airlines (Charlotte, NC) in May 2018
Interview
Attended recruiting event in Charlotte, NC. About 50-60 people showed up and the recruiters checked you in then talked about Skywest. After, all who attended did a 60 second presentation about theirself. TIP: Don’t overdo it and don’t be over the top. Just talk about who YOU are, your background, and why you would be a good fit for Skywest. And SMILE. After everyone went they chose about 20 people for F2F. The face to face was very casual, you interview with one of the recruiters and the questions are fairly straightforward. Be confident and poised! Also ask questions at the end! The interview lasts long so be prepared. I arrived at 5:45PM and left at 11:30PM. Was told I would hear something within two weeks and I got the invitation for training exactly two weeks later. All in all, do your research for the company, be confident, smile and show them why YOU should be chosen to represent Skywest.
It was a virtual one on one and after this process they alerted me of my training date a week later. The process was so pretty seemless and the company is good to work for but any little mistake you make you can be out.
The interview process was quick and easy. The recruiters were nice and answered all of my questions. They explained how the benefits worked and were very knowledgeable and the company.
I applied online. I interviewed at SkyWest Airlines (Atlanta, GA) in May 2026
Interview
Most of the interview involved picking apart my previous work experience. Asked a few basic questions, they are just looking for a certain look. It’s obvious. My look did not fit the part
