I applied online. I interviewed at SkyWest Airlines (Seattle, WA)
Interview
I attended the open interview in Seattle. Check in started at 5 (I’d advise you to arrive early because they called us to answer the question in the order that we checked in) interview started at 6.
There were 3 recruiters. They started the interview by doing a “presentation” about Skywest, but really they just read like 5 pages of information which seemed a little impersonable/unprofessional to me. At the end we were able to ask any questions we had. (It’s always a good idea to ask at least 1 question. It gives you an extra opportunity to interact with the recruiter and shows that you’re really interested)
Then they told us the question we had to answer, (Why would you make a great flight attendant?) and we took a break to think of what to answer, and from our answer they decided who gets to move on to the f2f. Out of about 40 people 15 were chosen.
My advice for the group question, talk about safety and customer service and keep your answer under 1 minute!
Also, work on your presentation skills/ body language. Things like leaning against the wall, twiddling your thumbs, or saying “ummm” for 45 seconds of your 1 minute answer doesn’t look very good.
I was chosen for a f2f. I was asked a few questions about my resume and things like if I had visible tattoos & if I was willing to relocate, etc. and probably about 5 questions which are pretty much already on glassdoor. Also I had to read an announcement.

Question 1
What is something that people do that bothers you?
It was a virtual one on one and after this process they alerted me of my training date a week later. The process was so pretty seemless and the company is good to work for but any little mistake you make you can be out.
The interview process was quick and easy. The recruiters were nice and answered all of my questions. They explained how the benefits worked and were very knowledgeable and the company.
Easy interview
Application
I applied online. I interviewed at SkyWest Airlines (Atlanta, GA) in May 2026
Interview
Most of the interview involved picking apart my previous work experience. Asked a few basic questions, they are just looking for a certain look. It’s obvious. My look did not fit the part
