It started with a HR call, followed by a take home coding challenge. I had 7 days to submit it. It was clear and had specific questions of what you'd need to do (for example: make plot showing X distribution over time). In the modelling part, they tell you the algorithm to use, which I think is a good starting point to guide your analysis. After submitting the challenge, they inform you if you've passed or not to the challenge review/technical interview phase. I moved on to the technical interview and it did not go well. As I was mentioning my challenge in my answers, I was told by the interviewer that he had not seen my challenge, only notes reviewing it. And so, we did not go through the challenge or mentioned it again. Instead, we focused on the algorithm they mention, specifically in its usage in the challenge's domain, and stood there for around 40minutes, with lots of theoretical questions.
My overall experience was good, except for the last interview. Maybe I was unlucky, but I felt he was a bit too theoretical and not letting me finishing my answers, which threw me off a bit.
I got informed I did not pass to the last interview step.
