Initially contacted by the product team via a job listing platform. Made arrangements for a first interview which was an open chat about the business and what they/I was looking for. Very approachable and easy to talk to. Progressed to a second stage which was to discuss the role and my experience in more detail with him and the design team. Some probing questions but no trick ones! After that a worked exercise around evaluating performance of one specific part of the existing product. Seemed like a reasonable task and they offered to pay for my time and reimburse boxes I bought when trying out the product. Can't say fairer than that!
