Simbec-Orion interview questions

I interviewed face to face for the final stages for a Laboratory Project Manager role, travelling over 7 hours at my own expense to attend. The interview itself was positive and the panel were personable on the day. However, the recruitment process afterwards was disappointing and unprofessional. My email, containing my presentation before the interview was ignored, I also sent a follow-up after the interview, including a question raised during the interview itself, and received no response. I followed up again roughly two weeks later and again received no acknowledgement at all. I reached out to the interviewer directly at 3.5 weeks and was once again ignored. The role was then reposted online again, with no communication to let me know the process had changed or that I should expect a different outcome. Candidates investing their own time and money to attend a face-to-face interview should at minimum receive an acknowledgement and some indication of where they stand. The lack of response after a final stage interview was extremely unprofessional. I would caution other applicants to expect no communication after interviewing regardless of how much time, money and effort you put into attending let alone preparing for it.
