I applied in-person. I interviewed at Siemens Mobility (Kartal, Istanbul) in Mar 2021
Interview
The candidate cv will be reviewed by HR. And then the candidate will be invited to solve a technical problem/ task. If its successful, then they will be invited to a face to face / online technical meeting.
I wanted to provide some feedback on my recent interview experience, as I found the process to be somewhat unusual.
After investing some hours into preparing the requested project, I felt the interviewers were not fully engaged during our conversation. It gave the impression that the outcome was already predetermined and the interview was merely a formality.
Ultimately, I accept that this may not have been the right cultural fit or timing. Everything happens for a reason, and truth be told, the low energy of the interview left me feeling quite unenthusiastic about the prospect of joining the team.

Question 1
In technical interviews, I was asked a few deep questions about Angular, the technology I have more experience with, and the one I was expected to be using on the job.
The questions were like "explain the pros and cons of signals, and how using them is different from other Angular component development philosophies" and "how to manage an NPM library"; aside from basic questions like software testing, Git, scrum...
Good, not too long. Got interesting tasks and interviewed by professional specialist. They made a good introduction first and gave enough time to prepare. It was done in two iterations, first is job technical and second is technical.
