      Recruiter Interview

      Sep 25, 2023
      Anonymous employee
      Century City, CA
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shirley Parsons (Century City, CA)

      Interview

Was during covid, but they really tried to make you meet everyone in the company because of how small it is. In the end, they seemed like they were looking for a good personality to hang out with.

      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shirley Parsons (Los Angeles, CA)

      Interview

The interview process was honestly very fun! They do ice breaker questions to start, most of them are funny and it really helped me feel comfortable moving forward in the interview. Then they do a recruitment activity, which I thought helped me understand the job better. The end it with a more formal interview. The onsite is a bit long, but you get to meet the whole team and its pretty fun for an interview.

      Recruiter Interview

      Anonymous interview candidate
      Los Angeles, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Shirley Parsons (Los Angeles, CA) in Sep 2018

      Interview

Applicants beware. Two phone interviews and one face to face interview. You have to pay for parking $15.00 and up. This was one of the worst interviews I have been on to date. Inappropriate interview questions and interviewing process. Red flag #1 parking cost $21 and no parking was available. Red flag #2 lack of diversity. Red flag #3 (2 out of 3) interviewers were dressed in casual attire. Red flag #4 had to take a "test" read through 5 applications, some of which were 5 pages each and match them to the job description in 30 mins. The interviewer came back before 30 mins were up. Overall, I knew that I was not a good fit for them when the actual interview began. The was a lack of eye contact, cutting me off while I was speaking, and going off on tangents. They google searched recruiter questions and asked some of their own questions that were not written down. They did not listen to my responses well and when I got feedback regarding the interview I was told my answers were not clear/confusing and that I did not understand the position. All they had to do was ASK for clarification during the interview, obviously, nerves play a role. EVERY SINGLE interview I have been on they ask if you have any questions for the interviewers and I was not asked. I knew walking out I did not get the job but finished the process professionally.
