A recruiter for Shamrock reached out to me via a third party recruiter to apply for a factoring position at their company. There were 2 interviews, one with HR which went great and another with 2 of their employees which was lackluster. It was apparent that diversity is not a priority for this company with the lack of minorities on their teams and that they do as little as possible to make people of color comfortable during the interview process. Although I was offered the job, I was taken back by the condescending attitude of the two hiring managers who acted as if I was lucky to be interviewed by them when I technically never applied. I ultimately declined the position due to the racial prejudice from their two managers. Not a company I would recommend for a person of color.
